2020-2021 BLSYW AMBASSADORS

The BLSYW Student Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing the BLSYW Community. BLSYW Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve as a BLSYW Representative and perform leadership duties at various BLSYW On and OFF Campus community events. BLSYW Ambassadors are the first student point-of-contact for all visitors who enter the building.

What does a BLSYW Ambassador do? 

• Welcome and Greet the public as they enter the school
• Provide various services and referrals to the campus
• Develop an expanded knowledge of BLSYW and working with Diverse Populations
• Conduct campus tours for new students, schools, classes and guests
• Attend bi-weekly ambassador meeting

BLSYW Ambassadors...

As a  BLSYW Ambassador you will develop a wide range of transferable skills that will benefit you. High Schools, colleges and universities are looking for more than just good grades; they want to community involvement and service. BLSYW Ambassadors will gain leadership skills that will help build your resume. You can earn letters of recommendations, get connected to and serve your campus, earn community service hours, and help students and the community learn more about the BLSYW Community.
